The small detail that changes a whole room.
Whether a rug anchors the living room or softens a hallway, its texture and character deserve suitable care. Rug construction varies widely, from everyday machine-made pieces to more delicate materials. That is why the first step is understanding what you have, not assuming a standard carpet-cleaning method will work.
What this service covers
Suitable synthetic and natural-fibre rugs, runners and area rugs, subject to construction and condition. Every quotation is based on the actual items, their condition and the work required.
Construction assessment
We consider fibre, backing, dyes, edging, stability and any previous damage before recommending a treatment.
Careful cleaning
Where suitable, soil removal and cleaning are selected to suit the rug rather than using a universal process.
Drying & finishing
We provide practical advice on drying, replacing the rug and keeping it looking its best.
What to expect when you enquire
Start by sharing your postcode, the rooms or items involved, and any information that might affect the clean. Photographs can help us understand unusual marks, delicate materials or restricted access. We will explain the proposed scope and the price before you decide whether to proceed.
Not every mark is removable, and not every material is suited to the same approach. Where we identify a risk, we will discuss it rather than make promises about the result.
Tell us about any silk, viscose, jute, unstable dyes, fringing or unusual backing before booking.
Common question
Do you clean antique or specialist rugs?
Specialist, antique, fragile or high-value rugs may need an off-site rug specialist. We can discuss the item first and advise whether it is within the service scope.
Want to discuss the job? Send the details for a tailored quote, including any concerns you would like us to check.
